Mullein Leaf, or scientifically referred to as Verbascum Thapsus, is a wildflower native to much of Europe and Asia which can grow almost anywhere. Because of its thick, soft leaves, it is also called Grandmother's Flannel and Our Lady's Flannel.

Mullein herb can be macerated into Mullein extract, brewed as Mullein Leaf tea, or made into syrup.

The silvery green leaves and bright yellow flowers of Mullein have been utilized for thousands of years in herbal traditions. This gentle herb has been used extensively in European and North American folk medicine and thus has a plethora of folk tales associated with it. Some believe Mullein provides protection and courage.

Small hairs on mullein leaf may cause mechanical irritation in the mouth and throat if not filtered out of extracts prior to consumption.
